Michael Stars Story
What started as a brand devoted to creating the perfect tee has evolved into a full collection of luxury essentials that embody the modern California lifestyle. Michael Stars offers an elevated approach to a lifestyle collection, which features leather trimmed tees and dresses, soft-washed vintage bottoms, cashmere blend knits, chic silk separates, leather staples and perfectly constructed basics.
Michael Stars has come a long way since it was founded over two decades ago by South-Africa native Michael Cohen and his wife Suzanne Lerner. The brand has truly made its mark within the lifestyle market, continuing to grow, while transforming the line into a fashion-forward, effortless brand to which style-conscious women feel connected.
True to its name, Michael Stars dresses celebrities including Jessica Alba, Olivia Wilde, Halle Berry and Jessica Biel and is regularly featured in the pages of magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Lucky, Elle and InStyle.
Michael Stars is not only innovative in its designs, but also dedicated to humanitarian efforts. The company is a regular supporter of numerous philanthropic events and charities including The Joyful Heart Foundation, American Red Cross, Women Thrive Worldwide, among others.

At Michael Stars we're big believers in giving back. In 2006, company founders, Michael Cohen and Suzanne Lerner created the Michael Stars & Cohen Family Foundation, a foundation that supports multiple charities through the development and sales of charity tees, monetary and product donations and in-store fundraising events. It's our philosophy that our foundation should support the foundations that mean the most to our customers, like women and children's, education and the environment. These issues are important to you and they're important to us.
