Los Angeles, CA (October 16, 2009) – Michael Stars announced today that it has opened its first Arizona retail location at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

“We are delighted to join the Arizona market and make our debut at Scottsdale Fashion Square,� said Michael Cohen, founder of Michael Stars. “We know Arizonans will fall in love with the unique look and comfort that is unmistakably Michael Stars.�

 The new store occupies 1189 square feet and features natural elements such as distressed floors, wood grain fixtures and wood stump tables. Clean architectural lines and white colored walls showcase the strong color palettes and style assortment the Michaels Stars collection embodies. 

 The new store features Michael Stars renowned collections, including basic tees and tanks as well as outerwear, dress and cashmere collections.  In addition, the store also carries the recently launched accessories division including belts, hats scarves and eyewear.

The Michael Stars store is located in the new Barneys New York expansion wing.

Us girls on the Michael Stars Design Team are OBSESSED with the new Modal Jersey styles. They’re just enough slouchy and just enough sexy to be our new favorite tees. We’ve been layering the racerback pocket tank over a contrast color Supima Modal racerback tank for a casual vibe. For going out at night, we pile on gold necklaces and bangles, put on our skinny jeans with booties and rock out in our Modal tanks. This tank is brilliant. The new store occupies 1,911 square feet and incorporates a new design concept which introduces natural elements to the décor such as distressed floors and woodgrain fixtures. Clean architectural lines and white colored walls showcase the strong color palettes and style assortment the Michaels Stars collection embodies. The store also has a new storefront which includes natural wood louvers and LED lights which illuminate the logo from below.

The new store features Michael Stars renowned collections, including basic tees and tanks as well as outerwear, dress and cashmere collections. In addition, the store also carries the recently launched accessories division including belts, hats scarves and eyewear.

On Thursday, August 6, Michael Stars and Step Up Women’s Network teamed up to host an exclusive shopping event from 6:30 to 8:30pm at Michael Stars in Manhattan Beach.  More than 85 women stopped by to shop the new Fall collection and learn more about Step Up.  During the two hour event, guests sipped on wine and enjoyed small bites & sweet treats catered by local favorite Le Pain Quotidien while socializing with other professional women.
