In response to the recent tragedy in Haiti, Michael Stars has teamed up with Partners In Health (PIH), a non-profit organization that has been on the ground in Haiti for more than 20 years. PIH operates world-renowned clinics and health-care programs with 120 doctors and nearly 500 nurses and nursing assistants in eight sites across Haiti.
Yesterday, we launched a campaign on Facebook to support PIH’s earthquake relief efforts: We’ll donate $1 to PIH on behalf of each of the next 5,000 fans of Michael Stars.
And starting this weekend, shoppers at our 10 retail stores will have the opportunity to round up their purchase to any amount and Michael Stars will match their contributions up to $2,500.
Help us help Haiti — and help us spread the word!

Why doesn’t michael stars offer for whatever purchases a customer makes at full price or reduced, that michael stars will donate 20% of that purchase to Haiti?

Thanks for the feedback! Michael Stars works with several charities each year, and our campaigns are tailored to suit the needs of that organization. We’ll keep this idea in mind for our next philanthropic partnership.
