Returns & Exchanges
Michael Stars wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and will gladly accept returns or exchanges of unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise with original receipt and tags attached up to 45 days from date of online purchase. We guarantee all merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects* and will accept any imperfect items for full refund or exchange.
We offer free return shipping for all full-price merchandise within the USA. Intimates, jewelry and sale items 50% off or higher are FINAL SALE and an $8 processing fee will automatically be deducted from your refund if returning/exchanging these. Orders with promotional items or gift with purchase (GWP) are eligible for a refund only when the GWP or related items purchased are included; otherwise, only an exchange of merchandise will be authorized.

When making an exchange be sure to specify the new item(s) requested by including the style/color/size on the return/exchange form. Note that standard shipping fees will be charged for the delivery of all exchanges. Balances owed will be credited to the original credit card/tender used for online purchase. Refunds will be issued if items requested for exchange are not available online at that time.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return package to reach our facility. Your refund or exchange will be processed within 5-7 business days once received. Full refunds will only be issued on the original credit card/tender used for online purchase and may take up to one complete billing cycle to display on your credit card statement.
Send all returns/exchanges in the original packaging. Your package will be returned to us via the United States Postal Service. Affix our prepaid label to your package and take it to your local post office or place it in a USPS mailbox.
If you decide to use your own shipping carrier, you will need to cover the cost of the return postage. We recommend choosing a carrier that offers insurance and tracking services for your protection. Only merchandise received by our Return Department will be refunded/exchanged. Send package(s) to the following address:

This address may only be used to return purchases from MichaelStars.com. Purchases from other retailers, including department stores or specialty boutiques, must be returned to the store where it was bought and subject to their return policy. If you have issues returning Michael Stars merchandise purchased elsewhere, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-877-782-7833 to report your concerns.
Gift recipients may only exchange merchandise and may not receive money back to their own credit card. Returns of gift items will be placed back on the original purchaser's credit card. Please note that our system will also automatically notify the purchaser of any return or exchange. Gift returns should be exchanged for items of equal or more value–note on the return form that you would like to pay the balance and our Customer Service Department will contact you to finalize your order. Be sure to include an email or telephone number where you may be reached.
Price Adjustments may only be issued in the original tender within 15 days of the ship date. Sale items are not eligible for adjustments if marked lower. Contact our Customer Service Department for inquires or further information.
Returning at our Retail Stores
Purchases made at MichaelStars.com may be returned at our retail locations(excluding outlets) for store credit or exchange only. Refunds will only be provided when returns are completed following the steps listed above. Retail store purchases may not be returned to MichaelStars.com. Below is our Retail Store Return and Exchange Policy:
All Returns and Exchanges must include the original receipt. Gift receipts will be accepted for exchange or store credit only. All items must be in their original condition with the proper hang tags attached
Full Refunds may only be issued in the original tender within 15 days of purchase. The original credit card used must be present for all credit card refunds. Debit card refunds are processed as credit card. Cash refunds over $125 are issued by corporate check and mailed within 2-3 weeks of return.
Store Credit will be issued after 15 days but within 30 days of purchase. All store credits will be issued on a Michael Stars gift card. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash or replaceable if lost or stolen
Exchanges may be made at any time within 30 days of purchase Price Adjustments may only be issued in the original tender within 15 days of purchase. Sale items are not eligible for adjustments if marked lower
Jewelry, Intimates and Sale Items are Final Sale. Return of promotional items and Gifts with Purchase (GWP) will be for exchange or store credit only unless the GWP and all items purchased are included. MichaelStars.com ecommerce returns may be made in-store for exchange or store credit only–no refunds. Michael Stars boutique purchases may not be returned at Michael Stars outlets, as well as outlet purchases may not be returned at Michael Stars boutiques or at MichaelStars.com
*Manufacturing Defects would include fit issues, missing buttons, loose/torn seams and/or dye inconsistencies. Natural wear and tear on the garment is not considered defective. Contact Customer Service for inquiries or additional questions.
