Returns

To get started, please follow these quick steps:

  1. Visit our Return Portal.
  2. Enter your order number (begins with "2000") and the email address used at checkout.
  3. Select the item(s) you'd like to return or exchange, and choose a return reason.
  4. Finalize your return — if you’re exchanging, you’ll select your new size or color here.
  5. Print your return label and include any required paperwork inside your package.
  6. Drop off the package within 7 days to your nearest USPS location.

Return Policy

For merchandise returned within 30 days of online purchase, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment, at the original selling price. We'll gladly accept unworn, unwashed, and unaltered merchandise for return or exchange. All tags must be attached and returned in original packaging. Return labels are only available for orders shipped to the continental US, no additional postage is required. Please note, shipping fees are non-refundable.

Final Sale Policy: all sale items purchased at 50% off or higher are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. These items will be clearly marked with a “Final Sale” banner on the product page and again at checkout, so shoppers know before placing their order.

Michael Stars merchandise purchased through other retailers, including department stores or specialty boutiques, must be returned to where it was originally purchased and is subject to their respective return policies.

Refund Process

Our returns process typically takes about two weeks to complete. However, additional processing days may be necessary during high-volume periods, such as the holiday season. Once your return is processed, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow time for your financial institution to process and post the credit to your account—this usually takes a few business days but may vary by institution.

Exchanges

Please note, we currently only offer even exchanges for the same item in a different size or color. Once you submit your request, you’ll get a prepaid return label and packing slip—just include the packing slip in your package. Our system will process your exchange order as soon as your return items are scanned in transit back to our warehouse, making for a quick turnaround once you ship them. You’ll receive email updates as your exchange request is processed.
